Belly Session with the High Park Sakura Blooms

This year, I managed to squeeze in some High Park Cherry Blossom sessions between a couple of births in early May.
This lovely family reminded me so much of my own.
Mr. Max’s personality even had me thinking of my son!

It was so fun to photograph them while they waited for their latest addition.

This is one of my favourite maternity sessions thus far.
Heather is an amazing mother, a birth doula, and just a fantastic lady.
The love this little family has is incredible. The conditions outdoors during this late summer maternity shoot were just ideal.

Her older sister had eyes for no one but daddy, order and she made it clear I was intruding on her time with papa!

There was so much to love about Nadia and Sam.
But most palpable was their love for each other. What a lucky little baby to come into a home so full of warmth and closeness.

There’s nothing quite like the glow of a first time mom.
That first pregnancy is so magical, when you have the time and the energy to soak in all the little details, to obsess over every little flutter and kick, and to dream of your baby growing inside of you.

Some of us radiate when we’re pregnant. We feel amazing, look amazing, and just embrace the whole pregnancy vibe.
Giselle is one of those ladies who just looked amazing as an expectant mama.

Just for fun though we added a bit of extra glam to her session by including professional hair and makeup application.
Who wouldn’t want to remember their pregnancy like this?

Kaitlin became a client through a new partnership I have with Bebo Mia, a local doula group that is in two words “beyond awesome”. I met her at their Yummy Mummy Mocktail mixer.

Her gorgeous smile and sweet personality had me pumped to be capturing her and her fiancé in their Toronto home as they await the arrival of their baby.

Boy or girl? They’re not 100% sure, although they are leaning toward boy.

Either way, one thing is for sure this cute family-to-be will share a lot of laughs as Jarod cracked jokes the whole time, and Kaitlin laughed at all of them!

Their little nest is already filled with so many smiles, baby is sure to only add to their joy!
